$150, Indecision 2010

I'm turning into my Pops!  Back in the day when my only job was to go to middle school, before I could even ask for the new pair of Air Jordans I would get a lecture about how it didn't make sense to pay $100 (kid size) for 1 pair of shoes when I could get 2 or 3 pair for the same price.

A favorite pair (no.VI) of Jordans from my childhood were recently re-retro-ed, but for $150 and as demonstrated I can make $150 stretch.  In college I bought Jordans all the time but now I'm not sure if I can pull the trigger.

Check out my possible options below on how else I can blow the $150.

Nike, Sperry, Clae...I don't believe the Quality over Quantity argument can't be applied here.

Skateshops: Not Just for Kids!

When you think skateboarder you may think of rebellious youth, skinny jeans, bulky shoes...But skateshops are actually a good place to find adult friendly sneakers (also flannels) at great prices. They usually carry mainstream brands like Nike SB and Vans (as seen in pages of GQ, an apparent endorsement). As well as up-and-coming brands like Supra and Lakai.
