Even as a relatively new "thrifter" I've already had similar conservations with people about some of the same observations and experiences that the guys from The Art of Reuse are sharing about in the video. You can save a ton, you can find rare items, it can become addictive, and you can get caught up in the labels...well anyway check out the documentary it may inspire the hesitant to take a stab at "Treasure Hunting"!"Generally (thrift stores) can be disorganized, “dirty” and most people don’t have the patience to discoverthe gems that lie beneath the surface of that perception. On second hand (pun intended) there’s population who don’t shop thrift solely because they just don’t know it exists. At the height of the world’s economic downturn, The Art of Reuse seemed to have a unique remedy that would not only change how thrift is viewed; they’d create a whole new consumer in doing so."
